Jeff Kupietzky and Steve Wozniak talk Apple, domaining, and the future of the internet
DOMAINfest Global is in LA this week taking over the Renaissance Hotel in Hollywood… and they brought the Woz.
The highlight of today’s sessions was by far the fireside chat between Jeff Kupietzky, President of Oversee.net and Steve Wozniak, Co-Founder of Apple Computers and creator of the Apple I and Apple II.
The conversation largely covered Steve’s career and achievements, drawing many comparisons between the personal computer revolution Steve was a part of and the huge growth and change the Internet has brought to the world and how the early domain industry helped drive that growth.
I’ve got to say, just the presence of this guy was pretty amazing. His work helped make the ubiquitous computing we take for granted today possible. The really trippy part is when you see him talking it seems it just makes sense that he’s the guy who did it. The passion and enthusiasm about technology Steve gives off is electric.
That said the true highlight of DOMAINfest will be the party at the Playboy Mansion tomorrow night. Hope to see you all there.
