Sunday morning I got myself dressed in my best fighting clothes making sure I donned all black to represent my team. It was La Tech Paintball day and I was ready to shoot some geeks. 30-40 techies gathered at Hollywood Sports Park to raise money for the Marine Corps Scholarship Fund and the Black Card Circle Foundation. In the months leading up to the event there was a lot of shit talking streaming across Twitter from both #teamtequilla and #teamblack.
Kudos to those that actually showed up after the amount of massive drinking that went on at the BCCF charity event and after parties. We heard reports that some were too hung over sick or afraid of the rain to come out and play *cough* *cough* Tony Adam and Jackie Peters. Thankfully I think they had signed up for #teamtequila so it only helped to improve our situation.

Both teams gave it their all and I’m not sure there was a winning team announced. Although @paigecraig did have this to say on twitter:
“#TeamTequila kicked some ass today – but frankly y’all played some great games out there “
The event was a great chance to meet new people, work out any frustrations and get a totally body workout. #LaTechPaintball raised $840 in donations. We have heard he might be planning another round in Northern California. Watch out Kevin Rose, Paige Craig is a great shot!
My advice to anyone playing paintball with a spouse, choose your side wisely. If you’re on the same team you can stratemigize and conquer, but if your on opposite sides you can shoot each other. Hmmmm world domination or instant gratification, you decide.
