We attended the Black Card Circle Foundation charity event at the Ritz Carlton Residences downtown this past Saturday. Despite the rain which does nothing good to suede shoes, the evening was quite perfect. Prettily dressed people from all sorts of industries gathered together in their swanky clothes to give something back to others.
The BCCF is dedicated to the betterment of humanity worldwide by raising awareness for & providing grants to non-profit organizations that serve in one 5 core areas. Founder Lotay Yang is attempting to bring together the crème de le crème from many different groups, all the way from tech to finance. We are not quite sure why we were included in that group but are very happy to have been there. The event included hand rolled Cuban cigars provided by www.Cubanrollers.com, a silent auction with beautiful art donated by Natasha Wescoat, cognac tasting provided by Courvoisier, Chivas Regal tasting, and a gift bag filled with all sorts of goodies. Most importantly it provided a lush atmosphere to interact and socialize with people of significant financial and social capital.
We met a lot of great new people all of which thankfully are on twitter so we can keep in touch with them. And noticed that the most popular area of the evening was the bedroom, where I personally heard more than one girl say she couldn’t wait to get on the bed, scandalous!
