In typical LA fashion, we made up our minds about SXSW at the very last minute. Sure we may have had some peer pressure, but we were also inspired by how Los Angeles is ascending upon Austin this year. I mean I don’t care how great the parties are, getting me out to Texas is no easy task.
So our planes tickets have been booked and necessary favors called in. Being a SXSW virgin we aren’t sure what to expect, but imagine it won’t disappoint. With all that free booze and casual sex, there is bound to be story to capture somewhere. We also want to help represent some of our LA locals who are joining us in Austin. On that note I’m happy to announce the limited edition, super top secret lalawag playing cards. Each features a provocative photo from some faces you may recognize, along with a their Twitter name and small note on the back. Hey don’t blame us, we just print this stuff from your various Flickr accounts.
There are 9 different cards all together. To get one all you have to do is find me, Laurie or a person featured on one of our cards. Each of us will have a stack ready at the event. Think of it like Pokemon, instead of cards with mystical creatures, you’ll get a piece of LA tech history that may or may not include @thekillerpitch‘s nipples. Who ever collects the most by the end wins a very special prize we can’t reveal just yet. Who knows, it could be AV Flox‘s panties, she did leave them at Chez lalawag on her last visit.
