LA’s coming to Austin and bringing all of the best tech people with them. This Saturday, March 14th, Andrew Warner and Sloane Berrent will be leading a conversation panel at SXSWi. They will be discussing with you how LA has grown into the successful tech community that it is today. Sharing everything from tips, do’s and don’ts, and how to replicate this kind of success wherever you call home.
You can even get in on the conversation ahead of time. Sloane and Andrew will be reading responses taken from a wiki page they created for the event. There are three questions that have been posted and they are encouraging the LA tech crowd to share their thoughts. This is a great way for them to highlight the involvement that others have had in the overall success of the community while at the panel. We know that if there is one thing LA tech people love to do, it’s talk about themselves and how awesome they are. Psst…don’t forget to mention how awesome we are too!
Every major city has their fair share of start-ups but the one thing that makes Los Angeles different from all the rest is it’s networking capabilities. When you go to a mixer in Los Angeles you not only connect with tech people, but you have the fashion, entertainment and even beauty industries mingling as well. This opens doors to connections that normally would not have been possible. Throw in free booze and the smoking hot ladies that are infiltrating the scene, and you have an event that no one wants to miss.
Sorry San Fran, LA is where it’s at and apparently SXSW agrees seeing that we were the only ones to get our own panel.
xoxo
