Well it appears my brilliant husband has struck again. Michael Arrington announced on Monday, March 9th, that he has secured an office for TechCrunch outside of his home. Gasp! Didn’t Sean state in his welcome home Michael Arrington post that he should do just that? Could he have been inspired by lalawag?

- Get an Office: Your home is your sanctuary and you’ve turned it into hell (an office). I get how nice it can be to work from home, the laptop’n in your boxers, sleeping into noon, it’s all so magical. However if your home is your office, you have no great escape from the work itself. Get an office and get those geeks-in-training off your couch.
While that scenario is extremely doubtful, I would like to congratulate Mike on an extremely smart move. And not just to avoid break in’s and the occasional annoying employee that just won’t go home. It’s smart for any man that’s married, and wants to stay that way. Like Sean mentioned, no wife wants to see her husband sit around in his boxers all day, although with employees dropping by I would hope that’s not the case, awkward. But really, who wants to spend all day and night with their spouse serving them drinks, picking up after them and cleaning up their various sock piles. Maybe that’s just my life, anyways, congrats to Mike and the whole TechCrunch Team. Who knows maybe they will invite us to one of their events at the new digs.
