The fabulous ladies over at Girls In Tech (GIT) are bringing you their next big event, the Social Fashion and Beauty Summit. It’s a bit like Sex in the City without the actual sex (sorry guys). What it does have is fashion, beauty, cocktails, shopping and even cupcakes. The event will be taking place this Thursday at LIVE! On Sunset, the store that has video cameras inside that let you stream pics to their website and send them as postcards to your friends. They even have a team of stylists to help some of the less fortunate shoppers that don’t have a clue.
The Summit will include six guest speakers that will be discussing the current and future state of the fashion and beauty industries as they pertain to the web. Following that is the fashion show that will be featuring brands like Dylan George, Joie and BCBG Generation. To end the evening, there will be a cocktail party with cupcakes provided by Fashionluvr.com and a 20 percent discount to use throughout the store until midnight.
