The girls are getting together again, and this time it’s all about PR. Robyn Cohen from Girls In Tech has put together an event tailored to guys and girls, this time to discuss what seems to be developing into the new world of Public Relations. A carefully constructed panel of experts will be there to talk about how the value of PR seems to be diminishing. During these tough economic times, companies often cut back on areas they feel are not necessary to the business. PR professionals are facing even more challenges with so much of PR being run through social media outlets like blogging, social networks and Twitter. Find out how the experts are navigating these tough waters and using social media tools to their advantage to acquire greater strategic results for their clients.
In addition to great conversation, there will be plenty of wine as the Must bar boasts over 50 local and global wines. GIT will also be raffling off one special gift bag full of delicious goodies. Brian Solis will be showcasing his new book, “Putting the Public Back in Public Relations – How Social Media Is Reinventing the Aging Business of PR”. The book will be available for purchase (cash only) at the event. See you there!
