Michael Arrington will do anything to survive the death of Web 2.0. The namesake that made TechCrunch is soon to be a footnote of Internet lore. However there is life after beta, and Mike seems to be making all the right moves to be part of it.

For one, he’s building a great team of writers to cover what’s next in tech. That team now includes former Southern California resident, MG Siegler (@parislemon). Formerly with Venturebeat, it was announced today that he would join Techcrunch. We want to send a big congrats out to MG and wish him the best. Just two years ago MG and I were nobodies just doing what we loved, experimenting with and writing about the web. Not much has changed since then, except now we are both way overpaid to do it.

Cheers to that.
