Tucked away in the studio of TheStream.TV you will find a sweet brunette with red high heels and a witty entertainer sporting a fancy jacket. Hailey Bright and Rob Welkner make up the online talent for Coin-OP TV Live, a weekly web show that concentrates on the gaming industry. I was invited to the taping of last weeks episode and used my handy little flip to capture what it’s like behind the scenes at this one of a kind show.
Coin-OP TV was originally started by Rob Welkner as a podcast in 2004, he then hooked up with TheStream.TV in 2006 and made the show Live. Hailey Bright joined the team as a co-host in 2007, she connects the viewers and their questions and commentary from the IM chat rooms to the show, and keeps the dialogue flowing. Each week they put on an unscripted talk show and you can catch them both live each Thursday at 8:00pm Pacific on TheStream.TV. Hailey will be hosting an episode on her own, Thursday June 25th, so be sure to check it out and give her your support.
Hailey and Rob graciously gave me a few minutes of their time after the show to talk about their devoted fan base who have even gone as far as to create Twitter names for their wardrobe. Check it out.

Robert Welkner is an award-winning filmmaker and producer with an extensive background in film/tv production. The live show blends Robert’s talents as a no-nonsense news anchor with the comic-stylings of a late night talk show host. Robert is also a regular contributor to GameRoom Magazine.
Hailey Bright is a model and actress with feature film credentials and experience hosting for the Championship Gaming Series on G4tv and Direct TV. Hailey handles hosting duties on location and also interacts with live viewers via the chat room. Hailey Bright was featured on IGN as their ‘Babe of the Day’ in Jan. 2009 and has modeled for Elle Magazine.
TheStream.TV Network is an online Internet channel featuring numerous high quality live streaming shows.They have over fifteen original shows that air weekly Monday through Friday.
