Few things are certain in life. Los Angeles getting hit with a HUGE earthquake, however, is pretty much guaranteed. It may happen tomorrow, or 10 years from now. Either way, it’s going to be one hell of ride.
So what do you do when it happens? Given our current transportation infrastructure, you probably won’t be getting out of town (think of worst day on the 405–times a million). So it may actually be better hold down among the rubble of our great city and follow a few key twitter accounts.
Let’s meet them now.

Sean is the type of guy to have at least 3 flashlights and 2 knives in his pockets at all times. After the big one, you’ll probably want to see exactly what he is doing, and pretty much do the same. He also recently launched the site Urban Journal, a resource that will no doubt be invaluable during such an event. Assuming we have the connectivity for it.

Food is going to be important after a big Los Angeles earthquake. So what do you do after the supply of Pink’s hotdogs and PBR from Silver Lake bars is exhausted? Yes Korean tacos from Kogi BBQ is the answer. Thankfully the nightly scene around these traveling taco trucks already resembles a post apocalyptic dash for food, so you wont notice much difference.

Having already experienced several intense environments (in the Middle East and beyond), Paige is going to be a good guy to know during the ensuing panic. If his Venice beachfront condo doesn’t fall in the ocean during the quake, it may serve as one of the most fun refugee centers around.

Yes, even the Los Angeles Fire Department has a Twitter account. Right now, they tweet the status of calls throughout the day, but during an emergency this account will provide vital info.

I don’t know about you, but if I’m transversing the urban dystopia of a post-quake Los Angeles I want to do it with a crew of hot and deadly women. Enter Amanda Coolong. She’s familiar with camping, survival and knows what it’s like to hunt your own dinner. She also looks great in a tactical corset.
