Women have always been involved in technology but up until recently you didn’t hear much about it. They are a growing part of this thriving industry and are making an impact in a big way. The LA Chapter of Girls in Tech has done an amazing job of highlighting these savvy women and bringing them together. This playground is no longer “boys-only”, and if they don’t watch out it may just be the girls that take over.

Girls in Tech announced last week that they were adding new members to their advisory board. Having personally met almost everyone on the list, I have to say, we are in for a treat. With a dynamic group of talented women like this, I can’t wait to see what they have in store for us. Congrats Ladies, we couldn’t be happier for you!

  • Robyn Cohen – Executive Managing Director, GIT Corporate LA Chapter Lead
  • Laurel Kaufman – Manager, LA Chapter & Events
  • Heather Meeker – Manager, Business Development & Sponsorship LA
  • Christine Kirk – Manager, Public Relations

  • Alexandra Mokh – Manager, Community Outreach
  • Lauren Berger – Manager, GIT University SoCal
  • Kathrien Ahn – Coordinator, Community Outreach

Robyn Cohen had this to say regarding the women chosen for the board:

“We have assembled an incredible group of influential, professional and powerful women in their respective industries, and look forward to continuing to offer fun, but educational events and contribute to an already booming LA tech scene.”
