Rubicon wants to send two lucky students to Twiistup! Nicole Jordan, Director of Integrated Communications for Rubicon, loves helping others and decided to create two Twiistup “scholarships” for budding entrepreneurs to be able to attend the one of a kind event.

The idea behind the scholarship, is to give young college students the chance to connect with the leaders in the Business community. Twiistup offers two days of panels, Q&A sessions, start up pitches and a mixer that these lucky grad or undergrad students will get to be a part of. They will have the chance to network with some of the biggest names in tech and meet with heads of companies that are actively looking for interns and seeking out potential job candidates.

Here’s what’s included in the Scholarship:

  • One all-access Twiistup pass (Value $300)
  • A swanky Rubicon Project shirt and laptop case
  • One Flip video camcorder
  • A gas card ($25) to cover your travel expenses
  • A Starbucks card ($15) to cover your caffeine and snack needs
  • Participation in the next Pay it Forward event

In return, all Rubicon is asking you to do is to be their eyes and ears on the scene. Use the tools they provided to capture and share the interesting moments happening at Twiistup so others can learn through your experience.

There’s just a few rules:

  • Attend both days of the event
  • Rep Rubicon Project by rocking the t-shirt and the bag
  • Live tweet interesting bits of wisdom as you see fit (with the correct hashtags, of course)
  • Write two blog posts for the Rubicon Project website. It can be about a panel, people you met, helpful business advice or something that inspired you, as long as it ties to back to entrepreneurship and/or innovation.
  • Capture video clips on your new Flip. Interview entrepreneurs, CEO’s, VC’s, etc. Have fun with it!

Interested in applying? Submit your answers to the questions below by midnight July 21st to twiistup@rubiconproject.com. Winners will be chosen and notified on July 24th.

Good Luck and we hope to see you there!
