Twiistup 6 is right around the corner and most of the showoffs have been picked. We thought you might want to get to know some of the companies that made the cut before the big event. If you haven’t gotten your tickets yet, they are still available here.

The First Six:

Diddit.com
San Mateo, CA

Diddit is a site where users can check off things they have done, find new things to do, and share their experiences about the places they have been. It’s also a way to discover new places and meet new people. Another great feature of the site is the lists. Users can create a themed list for everyone to participate in.  For example, Cheap Things to do in Southern California:

UserVoice.com
Santa Cruz, CA

UserVoice’s platform makes it easy to build a customer community and get real feedback on your company and their experience. You can create a forum that will help you quickly start engaging your customers and help move your product forward. One of my favorite parts of the site is the nod to the movie Office Space. If you click on the demo you are taken to an example of how UserVoice works for Initech.

Expensebay.com
Santa Monica, CA

Expensebay is a site for individuals or companies to easily keep track of expenses. You can use it to automate your expense reports and easily export them into any company format saving you a bunch of time.

Bantamlive.com
New York, NY

Bantam Live is an online service for business teams to collaborate in a workspace and build business relationships across the Web. They were picked to demo their product at the recent Real Time Stream Crunch Up event. After watching their demo video I have to say I wish I worked on a team just so I could use this service. Check it out for yourself.

Eqal.com
Sherman Oaks, CA

EQAL (pronounced “Equal”) is a social entertainment company dedicated to redefining the way users interact with content and each other. they produce some of the most talked about and viewed shows in the world, including Lonely Girl 15 and Kate Modern.

Bakespace.com
Los Angeles, CA

BakeSpace is a place where people gather from around the world to post, search and swap recipes. Users can build new friendships and learn from others as they express their passion for all things food related. The site was named a 2009 Webby Award Nominee for Best Social Network.

Next week will we be covering the remaining six showoffs, including the 12th company that will be picked by popular vote.
