In the latest video from The Guild, the inappropriately hot Felica Day asks “Do You Want to Date My Avatar?” Referring of course to her World of Warcraft avatar for which the indie web show centers around. I’m not exactly sure how you conjure a spell in WoW, but for me this online crush just gained 5 experience points.
Yes I’m happy to say, this is one YouTube music video that is not completely horrible. In fact it’s quite enjoyable.
Being the author of the The Second Life Travel Guide (I’m not making this up) I am well versed in the ways of avatar dating rituals. In the song Felica highlights some of the benefits of virtual dating. Things like making yourself hotter than reality, role play and of course being able to log them off.
