Tumblr is a great blogging platform for those too hip learn how to host their own WordPress blog. The format is quick and simple, just like today’s youth. Founded by David Karp (a New Yorker with hair almost as nice as mine), the service has seen explosive growth lately and is used by millions.
However Tumblr’s true greatness is usually seen through its collection of meme or themed sites. Some of these Internet gems even get book deals, others just make us laugh. Here are some of my favorites.

A collection of various shark related images and commentary. The blog recently competed in the epic Sharks Vs. Cats battle, losing to those little furry bastards.
