Some of us have family obligations that require travel during the days around a holiday. Others are blessed and can spend the day in the city with friends and more importantly not on the 5, 10, or 405 freeways. If you are one of these lucky angelinos staying in the city for Thanksgiving, you might want to check out the last New Media Vault mixer for ’09.
The New Media Vault is getting together at the Crocker Club tonight to celebrate Turkey Day. They will be giving away a free turkey and giving a portion of the proceeds to the Downtown Los Angeles Midnight Mission. In addition there will be a special screening of the New Girl Gamer Series: Girl Gamer Rocks Tokyo City.
So head downtown and have some fun. I”ll be at home thinking about the wonderful 5 hours we’ll be spending on the freeway tomorrow. Happy Thanksgiving.
