If you are a weekly or even monthly lala reader, you may have noticed that apart from Le Web my participation on the site has dropped significantly over the past couple of months. During this time my wonderful husband Sean took his brainchild back and has ensured that you would have something entertaining to read each day.
So what have I been doing all this time? Over the past two months I have been working on something big and I’m finally ready to share what it is.
In about six months I will be able to join the ranks of the mommy bloggers, that’s right folks, I’M PREGNANT! The Percival’s are bringing a bundle of joy into the world this year so watch out, she’s going to kick some real-time ass.
Any woman who has gone through this experience will immediately understand why I have been absent from the site, making a baby makes you extremely tired and the morning sickness is no peach either. To those of you that work a full-time job while pregnant, my hat is off to you, I couldn’t do it.
Thankfully I am past most of the yucky stuff and feel good enough to contribute to the site again. Don’t worry, Sean and his amazing posts will still be around.
If you want to join in the fun of our experience,you can follow the Twitter account we created for our pregnancy tweets at @percivalspawn. I started it on the day I found out and we are going to try to do most of the baby tweeting from there and not on our personal accounts. Hopefully this way we won’t drive everyone crazy with baby news. Also at negative six months I’m pretty sure this is the youngest user on Twitter.
To all of you that had events during this time that I was unable to attend now you know why. You can expect to see us out and about more often now, just make my drink a virgin. =)
