Flaming Lips front man Wayne Coyne is no stranger to spectacle. Any fan already knows their live shows often go down in EPIC fashion and are best enjoyed under the right influences (HINT HINT). In some cases Coyne himself enters a large bubble and proceeds to bounce around the stage and audience. Now it seems some of their exploits have gone as far to be captured on Google Street View.
Back in October 2007 while preparing for a holiday party, a sneaky Google Street View car just happened to pass by. Why doesn’t this ever happen to me when I’m bathing on my front lawn? Anyway, shown below you can almost make out where it says ‘Blob in the bath’. Higher resolution photos found on the bands MySpace page and the below video go on to mega confirm whatever this strange scene is.
