Through our lovely tip line, we received the following Craigslist Ad. It seems Barcamp is pretty loney and wants someone, anyone, to make it happen again. Maybe Mike Prasad could pick up where it was left off and give the poor little guy some love.
4/20: Seemingly abandoned unconference ISO a good home
Hey Los Angeles. It’s BarcampLA. I know I haven’t been around for a while, but there’s a good explanation for that. I’ve been abandoned. At least I think that’s what has happened. Nobody has done anything with me for almost a year now. You used to like to hang out with me every six months.
If you don’t want to chill with your old friend that’s fine I guess. Could you let me know what happened though? Am I not cool anymore? Did I not talk about social media enough? Maybe I talked about it too much. Whatever I did, I can change.
There’s something I really want to know more than that though. Maybe it’s harder to answer. Maybe it isn’t. Doesn’t hurt to ask though. So here goes nothing.
Can someone please make me happen again? Like once every six months? It doesn’t matter who does it. I just want to see my friends again. Is that too much to ask?
