BlueGlass LA is a unique conference experience that is coming to Los Angeles this July. Focusing it’s efforts on search marketing and social media, BlueGlass sets itself apart from other conferences by limiting attendance and brining in hard-to-get industry speakers to make it an intimate and intense experience.
BlueGlass LA is the follow-up conference to the Search & Social Summit that took place this year in May. We were able to catch up with Tony Adam, one of the brains behind the creation of the conference, to find out what to expect this July.
1. Give me some background on how BlueGlass LA came about?
Honestly, I’ve been wanting an online marketing focused conference in Los Angeles for some time now, about 2 years, so I have been pushing to make it happen. At Search and Social Summit, I was chatting with Dave Snyder and we decided to make it happen along with the help of Chris Winfield and 10e20. I pushed really hard and made sure that it happened with the help of everyone else involved.
2. Who are the people behind Blueglass that are making it all possible?
BlueGlass LA is a collaboration between internet marketing companies Search & Social and 10e20 along with myself, Tony Adam .
3. What do you think LA residents will benefit most from in attending BlueGlass LA?
Technology, Marketing, Media & Entertainment and any other professional in the LA area would benefit by coming to this because of the holistic online marketing approach that we are taking. We still have that Search and Social Media Marketing focus, but, with broader topics and appeal. At the end of the day we wanted the best speakers on a great lineup brought together for the most value of any other conference. At around $500, it is a steal compared to most other online marketing conferences of its kind.
4. Is it true that you are actually a SEO Ninja?
HA! I don’t think I am…People tell me I am modest about it, but, I’m still learning so much daily and when you have amazing peers like Chris Winfield, Dave Snyder, Greg Boser, Neil Patel, etc. around at all times, I feel like I’m just barely scratching the surface. :)
Thanks Tony, sounds like it will be an enriching experience. Tickets are on sale now at an Early Bird price and lucky lalawag readers can enjoy a 10% discount off of admission by using the code lalawagbgla.
