It looks like the business world should start paying more attention to the entrepreneurs in Los Angeles! Entries came in from Silicon Valley to Scotland to Asia and both winners are located in the greater Los Angeles arena and both are in technology!
Los Angeles tends to get a bad wrap in terms of entrepreneurism because of all the sleazy producers and entertainment people who claim to be in the “business” but don’t actually do anything other than promise naïve young actresses movie roles. As technology entrepreneurs have started to weed out the creepers at LA at tech events with more exclusive invites, Los Angeles appears to be a potential new heart of hi-tech! Especially considering the convergence of entertainment and the internet approaching us so fast we can’t keep up!
