Chris Hughes, one of the early members of Facebook, as well as the guy who got Obama elected, just got one step closer to being a saint in the age of Information. The former Zuckerberg roomie has already tackled the startup world, the political realm and now, he is going after the ‘do gooder’ nation full of Non-profits with his new startup Jumo.com , currently in beta and a soft launch is on the calendar for mid-March. This is THE place to discover what nonprofits you may or may not be interested in (although if you aren’t interested in supporting a cause, you are actually a bad person), and help to support them!

The UI is a mix between Twitter and Facebook, but the functionality has a very close relationship with Facebook pages. When you sign up it, It gives you choices of different non profit companies that are filtered by interest. I follow Teach for America and Room to Read, because my interests include educational non-profits. By simply signing up,  you’re on your way to helping a cause. Chris Hughes and his team have made it easier to do good online.

All you do is click….and you’re making a difference! Click click click!
