This is it. 2011 is your year- the year you’re FINALLY going to (fill in the blank). And it won’t be like last year when you were back to your old ways by St. Patrick’s Day. Making New Year’s Resolutions is easy, but keeping them is hard. Here are some of the best mobile phone apps out there to help you keep them!

5. Lose It! by FitNow
Setting goals for your weight loss has never been easier. This app helps you give yourself a daily calorie allowance and keep track of how much you eat and exercise.

4. Restaurant Nutrition by Foundation HealthCare Network
Trying to avoid a specific food item? You have control over your own kitchen, but the outside world is diiferent. This app has over 115 restaurants and 19,000 food items, allowing you to see what exactly is in that In-And-Out Burger.

3. BillTracker Lite by SnapTrap
Never miss a bill payment deadline again. Keeping track of which bills need to be paid and when can get messy, so download a little help. It could spare you those vaguely threatening “final notice” letters or, you know, getting your lights turned off.

2. Sleep Machine Lite by SleepSoft LLC
Resolving to get a better, more productive sleep this year? This app has you covered from the soothing sounds to lull you to sleep to the alarm to wake you up.

1. Recyculator by Seventh Bit Studios
If going green is your goal, calculating the greenbacks may be the incentive you need. This app calculates how much each material you recycle is worth. All you have to do is save it and find a recycling center near you. And it can help you with that resolution you have to save money, too!
