As more and more bloggers come into existence, it seems daily, the question becomes, how do you filter? Who are the real bloggers? What constitutes a QUALITY blogger?

For female bloggers, there is a new organization founded by Sinead Norenius and Tonia Korakis, IFABBO was created to help govern the relationship between female bloggers and brands.

Blogger members of IFABBO must adhere to certain rules and regulations, some so simple as maintaining correct spelling and grammar. Brand members of IFABBO are expected to adhere to certain rules as well. As a member, your site can reflect your quality with their IFABBO badge of honor!

Launched just before the new year, their most recent event took place in Los Angeles last week at the lovely PR offices of Bollare, sponsors included Popchips, Beautisol, Blue Angel Vodka, Gilt Group, Redken,  and more!  It was a female bloggers haven! Female bloggers of all verticals attended!

According to Norenius, they plan to launch internationally in the next 6 months. IFABBO could be one of the first steps towards the quality aggregator of content we all strive to discover every day on this internet thing!
