Apparently today is “say ridiculous things if your company makes Windows PCs” day:
- Dell and HP executives take shots at Apple’s iPad – Because trying to downplay the fact that your competitor has sold 16 million units of a product you can’t compete with by accusing them and calling them names really swings public perception in your favor.
- Microsoft strategy officer thinks tablets might be a “flash in the pan” – Well it wouldn’t be right if only Dell and HP had all the fun in saying silly things now would it? Apparently Australia is where tech executives go to vomit outlandish opinions.
- Google rolls out “+1″ recommendations engine – On the surface it seems like their version of a Facebook “Like” button, but Google says it’ll help you get better search results. Time will tell, but it’ll be awhile before there’s enough participation to even be useful.
- Blackberry Messenger NOT being released in April for iPhone – Just in case you bought that rumor hook, line, and sinker.
