- Boy Genius Report speculates at major Apple launch at retail Thursday – According to their source, there’s a lot of new hardware being shipped to Apple Stores along with an increased amount of overnight shifts this weekend. It’s an eye-opening development, for sure, but Wired seems to think it’s a boring old All Hands Meeting. I guess we’ll find out Thursday.
- Amazon plans on releasing two tablets – BGR is on a rampage with the rumor mill lately. Apparently they will have both an entry level and an enthusiast tablet with a whopping quad-core processor all based on NVIDIA hardware.
- Google’s “Instant Mix” for Music Beta put to the test – Obviously it’s hard to quantitatively test an automated playlist generator, but it’s pretty easy to go over it from a qualitative perspective (ie Coldplay on a Miles Davis playlist). Spoiler: Google fails pretty badly at making relevant automated playlist
- New bill wants to make unauthorized media streaming a felony – So all those “gray area” sites you go to for watching TV shows, movies, or sports events could be charged with felonies for doing what they do. Yikes.
