With photo sharing apps and networks increasing in popularity, a new app, helmed by Josh Brooks (former VP of content and music at MySpace), was developed to make it fun and easy for people to send custom photo postcards.

Just released last week, Postcard on the Run, is a free mobile app that instantly creates and mails high-quality, custom photo postcards…directly from your phone!

It’s so simple: take a photo from  your mobile device and send it as a real printed postcard from anywhere in the world.

  • Snap a new photo or use a photo from your phone/Facebook
  • Tap to add personalized message/signature/recipients
  • and Send!

All postage and delivery is handled for you in true high-resolution postcard form. How? POTR finds addresses from your existing contact list (or you can click Postal Gopher, which is a built-in address retrieval service). Your friends and family will receive a full 4×6″ print of your selected image with your personalized message, your signature, and a mini map on the other.

POTR is a free app to that can be found at the iTunes store. Each postcard is only $1.49 to send (package discounts also available), and are ensured to be delivered within 24 hours.

Postcard on the Run sets itself apart from other apps. Its unique customization tools (GPS stamping, Postal Gopher, built-in address retrieval service) and crystal clear, high-resolution photos have made sending and receiving postcards a fun and easy way to share and cherish memories. Download the app today!
